Knoebel's Amusement Resort
|
Knoebel's is the largest FREE admission amusement park in America! They even include free parking and free daily entertainment! Knoebel's is unique, in that they're still able to maintain that "hometown park" feel. Thrill seekers will enjoy a venture on one of their two, award winning roller coasters, or maybe even a trip through the "Haunted House." It was voted the best 'dark ride.' However, if you're not quite as daring, you may prefer to try catching the brass ring on the hand carved "Grand Carousel." Built in 1913, it is a true classic and unique piece of the park. The park has also been voted 'Best Park Food' for several years in a row. With everything from Cesari's Pizza to the International Food Court, you'll be sure to find something to tempt your taste buds. Knoebel's Amusement Resort, a true family fun park, located just about 18 miles from the campground, in Elysburg, Pa.

The Bloomsburg Fair
|
The largest fair in Pennsylvania! The Bloomsburg Fair runs for eight days, beginning on the 3rd Saturday after Labor Day. The fair features 225 acres of family fun, including horticultural and agricultural exhibits, 1,000 vendors, as well as a variety of entertainment. They feature a free stage with plenty of great acts as well as a grandstand stage, which has been host to everybody from Garth Brooks and Brooks & Dunn, to more recently Carrie Underwood and Sugarland. The Bloomsburg Fair, located in Bloomsburg, Pa, about 20 minutes from the campground.

Lake Tobias Wildlife Park
|
If it's adventure you want, then you and your family will love discovering Lake Tobias Wildlife Park. Looking for adventure at it's wildest, try the Safari Tour. You won't believe how close you come to the animals. Something tamer? Try the Petting Zoo. The Reptile Building offers various snakes, reptiles, and tropical birds. Animal adventures just 40 minutes from the campground, in Halifax, Pa.

Clyde Peeling's Reptiland
|
Located in Allenwood, Pa. Clyde Peeling's Reptiland is an AZA acredited zoo, specializing in amphibians and reptiles. Since opening in 1964, Reptiland has provided a public link to the less loved members of the animal kingdom. Reptiland offers a perfect blend of environmental education and entertainment. Just a 20 mile drive from our campground.

Hiawatha (Paddlewheel Riverboat Cruise)
|
One hour guided tour of the Susquehanna River on a unique paddlewheel riverboat. Special event cruises are also available, featuring dinner cruises, karaoke cruises, and more. The boat is also available for private charters. Located in Williamsport, Pa. Just about 45 minutes from the campground.

Joseph Priestley House
|
Joseph Priestley House is a historic site that preserves and interprets the contributions and significance to American history of Joseph Priestley (1733-1804), who's most remembered for his 1774 discovery of oxygen. However he was also a noted English theologian, natural philosopher, and political theorist. As a National Historic Landmark and National Historic Chemical Landmark, the site features Priestley's manor house with it's laboratory wing situated along the North Branch of the Susquehanna River, in Northumberland, Pa. The town Priestley called home from 1794-1804. Located directley across the river from the campground. You can actually see the house from our campground.

Point Drive-In Theatre
|
Voted one of America's best, last few remaining drive-in movie theaters. Statistically there are fewer than 400 drive-ins still operating in the U.S. The Point Drive-In features 3 gigantic screens showing the latest blockbuster movies, each with a seperate FM frequency for a clearer, crisper sound the whole family can enjoy. They also have an award winning snack bar with new items constantly being added to the menu. Point Drive-In, an American classic the whole family can enjoy. Located just outside of Northumberland, about 10 minutes from the campground.
