Even with all the fun you can have at our campground, you may still want to explore the area. Fantasy Island Campground is located within driving distance from a variety of great attractions. Here are a few of those that you may want to visit with your family while staying at our campground.
Knoebel's is "America's largest free admission amusement park." They even include free parking and free entertainment. Knoebel's is unique in that they're able to maintain that 'hometown park' feel.
Lake Tobias Wildlife Park is family owned and operated for over 50 years. It combines the best of both worlds as a fully operational farm and a stunning zoo, with an open air safari, reptile habitat, and petting zoo.
America's only "all water" cavern. The cavern tour is a 1-hour motorboat guided tour through underground caves. The newly added wildlife park is a guided 90 minute tour through 1,500 acres of forest and fields.
One of the only exotic rescue organizations in the state, they provide nearly 300 abused, neglected, or simply unwanted animals, with safe havens they can call home. Visit their website for a full schedule.
Reptiland is an AZA acredited zoo. Since it's debut in 1964 it has been home to many reptiles and amphibians, including everything from alligators and cobras, to turtles and frogs.
Rolling Hills offers guided hayride tours through their 200 acres of rolling landscape and farmland, where they raise over 400 red deer every summer and fall.
The Hiawatha is a one hour guided tour of the Susquehanna River, aboard a unique paddlewheel riverboat. Special event cruises are also available, featuring dinner cruises, karaoke cruises, and more.
One of the most famous sporting events in the world, right here in Central Pennsylvania. It is visited by people from all over who come to cheer on their team in the Little League World Series annually.
Joseph Priestley is most remembered for his 1774 discovery of oxygen. His former home in Northumberland, is now a national historic landmark.

Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine Tour and Steam Train is located in the heart of the PA coal region. Take an educational tour of a real anthracite coal mine. Travel the mountainside via steam train and learn about strip mining and Centrailia.
If you'd like to explore the Susquehanna River, Lake Augusta Rentals has just the thing for you. They rent pontoon boats, jet skis, kayaks, and canoes. Located right on the same island as the campground.
